LED Bulbs
With the suspect quality of LED bulbs on the market, found some from a well known company - PIAA, which everyone has heard of.
They have a new LED H11 (low beam) bulb on the market. Its the H11 G3 (26-1744 twin pack). the retail around $229, but can be found on Amazon for around $175-180 for the twin pack shipped. They have a couple versions of bulbs, the Extreme White regular bulb which only lasts a year at best, and a couple different LED bulbs - Platinum and G3. They recommend the G3 which has the best LED's CREE included. I think it has a 5 year warranty. Installed the H11 G3 in my FRS, huge improvement, highly recommend, even at the higher price compared to high end halogen bulbs. They have 6200k verses 3900k for the Extreme halogen and last 5x longer. Haven't tried yet in my high beams or fog lights yet. |
