Raceseng 2” Shock Top Clunk?

Hi everyone,
Been having some issues with my Racesengs, have them installed on Ohlins... have had no luck fixing a clunk that happens when going over bumps at low speeds, tried everything to fix. More preload, less preload, crying myself to sleep cradling a bottle of gin, impact on the top nut, I put all the spacers on in the correct order ... Nothing has worked!! It feels like the shock rod is trying to come through the trunk.
The only way I was able to fix the clunk entirely was to take the one spacer that fits over the bump stop (its purpose is to hold the dust cover in place), turn it upside down and used it as a spacer underneath the top nut.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

I'd suggest you try vodka instead of gin .....

Seriously, I'd suggest you take the whole unit out and then reassemble it .... following the instructions ..... this time ......

OK, plan B.

The humfrz method.

Take your car up to your local automotive shop, explain what is happening.

Ask them to "fix" it.

Walk across the street and buy another bottle of gin. Take a couple of swigs and a short nap in the waiting room.

When they get it fixed and they explain what they did, just pay them, shake your head and drive home.

See ...... how easy that was ......

(PS - you oughtta left the damn factory suspension alone in the first place ..... there weren't nutten wrong with it)
