AV-34 Wheels + FireHawk Indy 500 Tires

Today I went back to my old job & finally mounted my new wheels & tires for my FRS. Thanks to the FT86 Club community for helping me make this decision. So much research went into this pick.

I was finally able to get roller footage of the vehicle. So happy with this setup, really contrasts well with the black paint. Short clip, but I'm planning to collaborate with my friend with a dope video concept soon.

I strongly agree. I know the MPSS are known as the holy grail of street tire but after going from them to this tire I've gained so much more confidence in my car.
I also adjusted camber in front that probably helps but I am very happy with how the car handles now seeing as how I'm not spinning out on u-turns now.
I'm nine months(about 2.5k-3k miles) on them now and they are still looking brand new and sticking like glue still unlike the MPSS that I ran through
in 24 months(8k miles) that were very squirmy along with that terrible life. Pretty sure I had a bad set but for hundreds less versus the Michelins, I think I'll stick
with these again the next time when this set is worn. How the price is so low I don't know when the tire is so good.

I'd be interested in hearing a comparison with the Conti ExteremeContact Sport, if anyone has had both on their car.. Pricing is much closer to the Indy 500 (~7 bucks) than the Michelin. But if the two are too close in performance to really tell, I'll take the Indy. Cheaper and just as light as the Conti (which tends to be the lightest in a given size/category). Does the Indy get loud when worn?

With that 2.5-3k on mine, no changes in volume so far. So same as new. I'd say they are same loudness as the MPSS. I drive with the windows down most of the time and road noise isn't a concern.

Yeah I couldn't pass up with that price. Still haven't pushed to it's potential, temperatures haven't been higher than 45 degrees in my area yet. I'm sure when it warms up I'll be even more surprised !

So far it's not making much noise, just a little bit more than the stock tires that came with the car. I'll keep you posted
