Navigation Module Bad 2016 FRS

I have a 2016 FRS bought 20 months ago has 12,000 miles on it. I had the optional navigation system module added on when I bought the car dealer installed $1,000 extra. Since August 2016 my navigation will not turn off. It keeps on taking me somewhere no option to cancel destination anymore. I had to lower the voice to zero because It's driving me crazy. I have been to the dealership (2) different ones (3) separate times and have been getting the run around on fixing this. I can't find anyone here with the same issues. First they tell me there is an update flash.....then I had to leave my car for a day or two which turned out to be 10 days with no call to let me know what was going on and never fixed it over that 10 day period. The dealership says it can't replace it anymore because the exchange program has been terminated since Scion was dropped. To replace the entire kit would cost them $1,000 and for some reason won't do it. Now they tell me they need approval from the area district service manager from Toyota. I have since called the office of the DM a week ago with no return phone call. I guess I'm out on my own on this. Is it hard and costly to get another unit with navigation installed aftermarket? I have a Pioneer system with the add on navigation module....thanks for any help.

I want to know where it's trying to take you and what happens when you get there.
try pulling the fuse for the head unit and leaving it out for about 30 minutes.

It keeps taking me to the last location never stops until I put a different location used to have a pop up discontinue destination not there anymore. I've tried battery and fuse disconnect and still never stops. The dealer said bad module but can't get one since the exchange program form Scion has been discontinued. I want them to put a new unit in but they won't do it.

I don't know if you have the same head unit as mine but I hit options-stop guidance to stop my navigation.
If the dealership won't help you I would contact Toyota corporate office and see if they will help.

My unit is different but when first installed by dealer had the option to stop guidance. That option no longer appears. Yes I have called Toyota corporate for my service area. I have called twice in 2 weeks and no reply from the district service manager. I could buy a used navigation module ($250) and install it myself but the car is only 20 months old and not even 12,000 miles on it plus I bought the platinum extended warranty. I don't feel like I should fix this myself....thanks for the help.
