Oft stage 1 idle pattern?
Just flashed my stock stg1 oft tune days ago and driven just about 30km
I notice that every 10 seconds, a subtle switching sound clicks from the engine and my cars idle goes from 750 to 1000, then back down 750 - its not fast blips. Its as if it were taking deep breaths every 10 seconds. It happens both when stopped or even when in drive but of course if you step on the break the rplndoesnt rise up but you can still here something switching on to make it want to “breathe” to 1000. Is this normal? The constant switching on sound is kinda strange. |

Airco kicking in. While idling open your hood and you will see the pulley being activated.

Oft stage 1 idle pattern?
Quote:
What does that mean in reference to the oft adjustments? I noticed it wasnt like this before the tune. Id get a mild idle bump maybe once every 15 minutes, but now its literally every 10 seconds sharp. Maybe the ecu still learning after tune ? I think you have 90% of the tune or so after a flash. You're not going to feel an increase in power after the learning, only improved driveability.
