Just got a BRZ!!!!

Sup guys I'm new here and Ive been shopping for a BRZ for a few months. I found a perfect one and purchased it today. Its DGM 2013 Limited with 29,000 miles. Paid $15500 for it. The owner of the car was 70yo and died a few months ago. The car is in mint condition. I own a 09 gti and this is my first time driving a rear wheel drive car. Always wanted a Subaru....Im stoked!

Congrats! That seems quite a bargain for what it is ... and I believe you meant to say DGM not Asphalt since its a BRZ. 2013 limited BRZ with 29k miles for 15.5k is an awesome deal IMO but only if it has a clean title. Anyway, welcome to the forum

Great deal. Once you go RWD you never get back! Especially one with an LSD.

Yes the title was clean. I checked the carfax. He had all the records of all the maintenance and even paid for the extended warranty of 7 year/70,000 Gold PLUS. . Do you guys know if I get to use that warranty?

I'm still going to mainly drive my GTI for daily use. Kinda want to have the BRZ stored in my garage and just drive for like special occasions or something. Treating this baby like a its a Porsche.

Best thing about the deal was I didnt have to dish out a penny. Bank give me a loan for the car and the TTT fees with 3% apr. I bought it from a private seller.

Welcome to the club! I too came from a turbo hatch and it's a whole nother world. Good buy. I recommend you rev that bitch a bit. Doubt a 70 year old was taking proper care of the engine. (Not talking about oil changes)

I don't know, I think I would rather have a 29k mile car from a 70yo that only did oil changes than a 25yo that took meticulous care of the engine but constantly drove it like they stole it.

What serious maintenance could possibly be neglected at only 29k other than oil? Especially on a car that was probably driven gingerly.

I would gladly pay 15,500 for that car even if all it had was oil changes.
