OFT question!!!
Hello everyone I took my car to the shop and am getting my motor replaced.
I placed the stock tune back on the car and and its in the process of having the motor replaced with a used one. I want to know if I can still use the same tablet to refresh my car to stage 2 Not sure if my stock tune on my oft will change with a new motor I'm a noob |

You might be able to get away with just flashing the stage 2 rom but if you re-flashed your stock tune before hand you should be able to plug the OFT up to your computer and there will be an "erase" option or something similar to reset it. Once you do that, it will be like plugging up a brand new OFT to your car and it should work fine.

The tune is in the ECU and nothing to do with the engine, unless they change the ECU, which they won't then the OFT won't know any different.
