Whiteout FR-S - Maserati attractant

The FR-S isn't my daily driver but I was really feeling the need for speed this morning. I park on the bottom level of a parking garage at work which is usually totally empty. What a treat to come out of work to find a Maserati GranTurismo Sport ($122,500 2012 MSRP!) parked close to the FR-S.

Ok. Toyota definitely was inspired by Maserati in designing this coupe. It looks like a mini version.

Quattroporte is what the Italians call 4 doors...When they're not surrendering. To their grannies.

It's funny but my 2 favorite looking coupes under 35k was inspired in silhouette by more expensive cars. The 3.8 GC has a Aston Martin-like shape and the FR-S has the MGT-like shape but just smaller. I think its the biggest reason I love them a lot.
