Cool UAM looking for a test Car for Headlight & Tail light mods.

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a GA member who would like to get their headlights painted and possibly taillights modded too. We would be willing to give a big discount for the member who is chosen.

We have done a good bit of 370z's, STI's and G37's. This is open for both the BRZ and the FRS. Below are the areas in which we could paint:

PM me for details...

Also, I will be adding what we can do for the taillights as well. Since they look like they are not plastic welded (must confirm with test set) we should be able to open them up and paint the insides . If they are plastic welded we wont open them up but if they are silicon sealed as they appear to be from looking at them at the dealer. We should easily be able to open them up.

Projector Retrofits and upgrades are also available if you would like. Our turn around time on paint is just a few days 2-3 days dependent on my painter (We do NOT use krylon or rattle cans for paint! We use professional automotive paint). LED mods will depend on the mod and could take an additional 3-4 days (again dependent on mod).

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Mike

FYI, they are silicon sealed. Nothing a few minutes in the oven won't fix.

This has me resally excited that the tails are siliconed together! Im actually thinking how badass!! It would look to rip them open and make everything chrome carbon fiber! Vinyl ftw! Shouldnt be too hard just gotta grow a set of balls and open them up.

If these are confirmed to be silicone attached we have a new mod planned called the "Red Line Effect". In summary this would include sanding the chrome off (Accent Area 1) and emitting Red LED's through the semi opaque plastic giving the effect of a Red Line on the tail lights. This could be attached in two ways: Running lights or Brake Lights...

I think Running lights would look better.

Did you ever get the lights? How long would you need them for?

FYI: Taillights are definitely ultrasonically-welded. There is no silicone to bake apart.

Yeah we found that out from another member who tore theirs apart.

We can do headlights in just a few days. Tail lights would take longer so that we can ensure they are broken apart safely. For both I would say a week.
