Numbering & Badging of Yellow Series BRZs - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I've contacted Subaru about getting the last 6 digits of the VIN for all 500 Yellow Series BRZs so we'd know which iteration in the run of the 500 car series we had. Haven't heard anything back nor do I expect to. How many could we gather ourselves? Mine is 601490.

I doubt they were made in sequence so the last number of the VINs will not mean much.

The one my local dealership had ended in 1991. Pretty sure Tcoat is correct, they wont be in sequence.

Side note: I'm upset that the WRX Type RA gets numbered plaques while the BRZ tS does not

The one I have is 1272, the other one at the dealership was around 093. Can't remember exaactly. I took 272 because it had not been test driven.
