Stock clutch

On the 2017s is there a way to increase the feel of the clutch peddle? I've got almost 6k miles on the car and the peddle always feels light. I would like to know if there is an adjustment the dealer can make or is that just how it is. There is nothing mechanicly wrong it drives and shifts perfect.

Search how to take out the clutch spring. It'll feel pretty heavy at first, but you'll get used to it. The added feel and feedback is great. You can also adjust the height of the clutch pedal. Most people adjust it slightly below the plane of the brake pedal. It'll feel super short at first, but you'll also get used to it.

Never heard that before. Interesting, although I don't see how it would accelerate wear on the slave cylinder.

I've heard good things about the MTEC clutch spring as well as their shifter springs.

Bullshit. Pure snake oil marketing bullshit.

I know that lots of people swear by removing the spring but I've lost count of how many people I've helped swap their slave cylinders. Simply removing the spring is just a tease.

The stock clutch will always be weird with how it fully engages in the last smidgen of travel but, at least with the slave swap, that vague in-between-ness is much shorter.

My philosophy is that the clutch on this car felt like shit until I fixed it. Now every time I shift, instead of feeling disgust, I feel true joy.

...and a little sad for people who give in and just decide to "get used to it."

Well, it only took me about 10 shifts to ..... get used to it ...... maybe I was preoccupied on how to shift a 6 speed (coming from a 5 speed), since I only have four fingers and a thumb on my shifting hand ......

I will defiantly look in to slave swap and mtec spring. I am not going to just remove the spring that is not a fix and can lead to problems.

When bleeding the clutch and you add the motul 600 fluid is mixing that with the stock fluid ok ? Will it change the feel or have any negative effects on it?
