Condensation in tailights.

I have none. 35k miles, 2013 frs. The thread is too long to search through in the recall section. Should i do anything to prevent it? Or just leave it alone?

If you don't have it now you probably won't. Just leave well enough alone and don't do a thing.

The tail light condensation problem was with the initial 2012 production.

I live in south Florida with a '13. Slight condensation, but nothing bad. You can try to add sealant around the border to prevent it, but you've already made it this far. And it gives a good reason to upgrade to Valenti if it does go bad.

I don't have any punctures at the moment.

What should I do about it?

Normally I'd ignore what Scrappy says, but this time he has a point. Not worth it worrying about a problem that isn't there, and even if it does appear is very easy to fix.

If it's bothering you that much, then the two easiest solutions are drilling a hole in the bottom corner of the housing to allow the water to vent out, or sealing the border between the tail light and trunk vent with silicone (which is what I did).

Thanks guys. I figured I shouldn't do anything, but the thread was so long that I wasn't entirely sure what the issue was. Thanks for the reassurance guys.

Next up: My car seems to be running perfectly, does that mean the exhaust bearings need to be replaced? Stay tuned.

Nah, they are sealed bearings and are good for 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

You're a good sport there, nickjpass ...... we'll let you hang out here .....
