Checking a used BRZ on sunday!

Hi Guys, Need your opinion on this one.
I apologize if im so anal about this. It is going to be my first "sport" car. I've been driving a big old diesel land cruiser all my life and a yaris..

Finally narrowed down to the pre-owned unit I might potentially buy and see on Sunday.
The retail on a Limited Manual here in the Philippines is 38,650 USD fixed since 2012. (EU Spec)

The unit I am getting is a 2014 model offered at 22,000 USD; or 57% of SRP.
Technically it is about 3 years and 3 months old now and just out of warranty last april.

The things that worry me:
1. Mileage is 20,000 miles already. I live in a small country...most of the pre-owned BRZs for sale are all within 5-10k miles only. Mileages like his are usually found on daily beaters. Owner probably seriously daily'd this car. - not a weekend car.
2. Half of its miles are on large... 27lb 18 inch wheels! on dunlop LM04s (tire weight not yet even included!) Im just worried that will these anchors have caused driveline/suspension/bearing wear by now? i have no way to check because I will just test drive and visually inspect without lifting the car. [Stock wheels will be included]
3. Car hasnt been used much since he got a mustang in January. Just drove around his block for a few minutes weekly to keep it running. Last service was October. Anything i should be worried about? thats technically 8 months of barely using it.

Things that make me feel good however:
1. The owner kept everything else stock. and the fact that he placed large vanity-oriented wheels may mean hes more-show than thrashing the car looking for speed.
2. Car is newly undercoated, additional floor mats placed, and also a weather proof trunk mat. Makes me feel he's OC when it comes to dirt. Another welcome behavior.
3. Service records are complete - serviced according to the manual's mileage recommendations.

Based on the price drop from SRP, is this a good buy? Am i being too paranoid?
Any tips to look out for that gives clues on how the owner drived it when I go to see it personally? Does anything seem non-stock based on the engine bay and exhaust photos?

Attached are some photos of the car.

good looking car. dont worry about the wheels. take to mechanic if u dont know what sounds the engine should not be making (reference to your concern of vehicle being beat on). seems a reasonable reduction of price per mileage/year.

he even left the plastic on the metal @ bottom of door sills. its looks like its well taken care of. if u can afford it get it.

20,000 miles on a 3 year old car is good. That means he drove it only 6-7k miles a year. Now i know you said most are in the 5-10k mile used range, but this is considered incredibly low mileage in the US.

22k USD for the year and and 20,000 miles is a good price. Even in the US thats considered a very good deal. Especially considering its a Limited.

Wouldnt worry about the wheels too much. But as mentioned above, have a mechanic check it out if you are worried.

As long as he did drive it around a bit every week or so the car should be fine. I have an S2000 that i only put maybe 300 miles a month at the most.

I'd say its a pretty solid deal and the car looks in great shape.

what i paid in MA

I payed a whopping 15000 at a dealership for my 2013 brz with 28K miles on it, so based off of the pricing and the fact the car isnt stock and or a dealer ( assuming ) i think 22 K could be a bit steep. personally when i buy cars i like them to be stock for the most part, original wheels TMPS, exhaust etc. somethings like coilovers i can swallow as long as they are quality and what not. also you have to take in consideration that i do live in Massachusetts where it snows we have rust and all that so people dont typically buy rear wheel driver 2 door cars! but i think that doesnt play to big of a roll in the pricing the main factors are that its a 2013 and dealers dont like to have to old of a car there. people on CL around my area are trying to sell there 2013 with like 35K miles at like 20K.

Prices within the continental USA can vary by thousands. Prices in other countries can vary wildly.
