JDM Red Steering Wheel

Finally completed a mod I've been targeting since I got the car. I had to have a Japanese co-worker of mine find it on a Japanese auction site to get a reasonable price.

Installation was super simple and of course fitment was factory. Only catch is the manual states you need to do a VDC midpoint setting after removing the wheel. I've got the mini-VCI cable and TechStream so this wasn't an issue. Honestly, I doubt this is necessary as long as you keep the clock spring in place.

Very happy with the look. Looking for the red shift knob next to complete the package.

Part number for the wheel is SU003-00844 if anyone is interested.

Very nice! I just found one myself and am looking to pick it up soon. This should fit all years of the brz and the rest of the oem parts as well correct?
Do you really need to change the VDC setting when installing this? Shouldn't it be a simple part for part swap?

I have swapped steering wheels and didn't mess with the VDC. I believe it is only if you mess with the clockspring like OP stated as well.
