Ok to drive sport mode on OFT tune?

just wondering if it was ok or safe to use sport mode still if you have a Stage 1 or 2 tune from OFT on your car? I mean the car already feels like its on permanent sport mode with a tune. lol

engine tuning has nothing to do with traction control

Tune affects power, handling is done separately.

ok cool. I just thought sport mode on an AT holds gears longer and makes it shift faster while at a higher RPM. But I guess the tune doesnt really affect none of that.

Holding gears longer and adjusting shift points is the transmission ECU, not the engine ECU.
