Velox Clutch Fork Worth it?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if during forced induction applications with a heavy clutch is an upgraded clutch fork worth it? I know it must be if that part is prone to failure over load rate but im curious about others opinions and if you run the stock fork just fine and for how many miles. Also if your clutch fork has broken, do you dd or track the car. any input is appreciated thanks

Yup it's worth it, got one for myself and the pivot to go with it

I also changed the clutch line to a braided one

Had clutch fork broke into 3 pieces, if you gonna upgrading the clutch mind as well swapping out. Subaru's clutch fork is very weak, extra stress will prone to break in heavier clutch.

It's pretty much mandatory to install this fork with stiffer pressure plates included in aftermarket clutch kits.

I got one (and the pivot) for piece of mind. My OEM fork was still in surprisingly good shape when I took it out at 64k.

Even though I went with a pretty conservative ACT HD pressure plate, I can still feel a substantial difference in pedal feel -- It's easier to engage the clutch pedal with the ACT HD PP w/ Velox over the stock PP w/ stock fork & clutch spring removed.

The Velox piece just oozes quality.

You guys should check out the DIF shift fork from FRSport. It's a really nice piece, solid, and the company supports NASA competitors. This part was developed prior to the competitor part, but wasn't advertised through the forum so I'm not sure if many people are aware of it.
