so i haven't posted on the forum in years, but thought i'd pop on and do someone a solid favor. this is strictly for the diehard jdm parts guys.

i have stumbled upon a very coveted shift knob that - until last week - i have never seen in a toyota/subaru thread pitch. evidently, there was a limited run of these knobs in varying thread pitch as an insurance order fulfillment. the overrun is now on japanauctionparts.com.

i had one of these in my 370z before i sold it, and i missed it more than i missed the car.

useful info:

-for quick reference, 86 thread pitch is 12x1.25 (vs. nissan's 10x1.25 and honda's 10x1.5).

-knob is a pricey $325. ships from japan.

-original knobs were all red turtle, but these have different color options.

-this was my first purchase on this website - thankfully, my order arrived quickly and as described, shipped from japan.

-i ordered the 12x1.25 with reverse lockout. there are TWO knobs remaining in stock with this configuration.

-i haven't installed yet, but can update with feedback once i do.
