Trunk Lid Part Number Question

Hi,

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 2017 BRZ Limited, but I'm not a fan of the wing. I've seen other threads about trunk swapping, etc. but haven't found what I need. I'm trying to find the part number for the trunk lid that works with the keyless entry features of the Limited, but without the holes for the wing. I'm guessing that the trunk lid for the Premium won't have the wing mounting holes, but might not have the keyless entry features.

I went to a dealer today and the parts department manager was absolutely clueless. His system didn't even show 2017 BRZ parts.

I then went to another local dealer's parts web site. It is quite good. Interestingly it shows the same part number for the trunk lid for both the 2017 Premium and Limited BRZs. It is part number 57509CA1709P. The line drawing on the dealer parts page doesn't show holes in the trunk lid for the wing, so I'm hopeful, but not confident, that this is the part I need to order?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Please note that I'm looking for a trunk lid for a 2017 model. I'm assuming that they are different from previous models. Is that true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The lid will not have a part number with the key system. All the components are separate. Just get a plain trunk shell and transfer over your components.

They are the same lid as the previous ones with just extra bracing added for the wing.

You could see if you can pick one up cheap from a wrecked one.

I think subaru needs to justify exact gains from the new spoiler downforce wise bc its slightly offensive looking.
