Equal Length Header Advice

Hi all, I am considering getting an equal length header because I quite like the sound that it makes. I was wondering for those who have gone down this route, which header you would recommend and how it affected driveabilty. I also don't want it to be too loud so I don't want to go catless, but what exhaust modifications would you suggest?

I bought my Top Speed EL catless header for under 400 bucks. Weld and overall quality was excellent. Have 35,000 miles on it now. They also make a high flow cat version for under $500.

Yeah, i'd probably also would get best EL (ACE's, or Nameless/Cossworth), and look for others only if i'd need catted EL.
These mentioned as "best" ar catless, but OP stated wishing catted .. but then again it was stated for loudness reasons, not environmental, so unless he is in some country with anal MOT inspection, i'd choose those catless ones + some reasonably not too loud catback.

I have a P&L catted header, got rid of the torque dip, really noticable surge of power north of 3500, and then again 6000 to redline. Added that, stock everything else except Greddy SP Elite, and sounds amazing IMHO. No drone, no rasp, nice exotic growl in cabin and outside, but not too loud. It's a 4-1 long tube design. Build quality is excellent. Really happy, here's a clip of my setup

Thanks for your suggestions, all. I have heard good things about Tomei headers and JDL headers...any experience with those as well?

My vote goes to Nameless's EL header, but if you're on a budget, I'd go Tomei

Can't comment on EL header, but I recently purchased a JDL UEL from 86 Speed. Really nice build quality.
