EBCS, Wideband and Flex...

Hey everyone, looking for a little information. I've found some bits here and there but just want to have everything figured out and concrete.

I'm making the switch on my turbo car over to e85. I'll be installing a boost solenoid, a flex fuel kit as well as a dedicated wideband. However I have a few questions about all 3 being hooked up.

The boost solenoid will be using the harness from the EVAP sensor, and the flex fuel sensor will be using the plug for the rear O2 output, so where does the wideband fit into all of this?

From my understanding it traditionally would tap into the rear 02 and can be used for logging, but the Flex Fuel sensor is going to be there as well?

I've read that you tap the light blue wire comming from the ECU into the wideband to get proper wideband logging in ECUTek, does this still apply? Does the Flix fuel kit not use that pin/wire and I just tap the 02 into that while using the rear 02 plug for the flex fuel sensor?

Thanks for the info!

You can use 2 inputs. The CPC voltage and rear O2 voltage. If the FF uses the rear O2 then tap into the CPC input for the wideband. You then need to configure the map to make sense of the voltage input.

The Evap solenoid is the output that can be re-purposed for a boost solenoid.

Do you have ProECU on your computer? There's info in one of the help pdfs.

Where is the CPC input located?

Or Just get a stand alone sensor with its own gauge and tie in down stream of the turbo.

I have a UK car, the CPC sensor is not used so I just tapped into the loom.

What are you talking about?

Thats what I'm looking to do, run a stand alone Wideband and tie it into the ECU so ECUTek can log it properly.

So can someone give me some insight on how to wire this with the input signals of the EVAP solenoid while the EBCS is going to be using the Output?

The EBCS plugs right into the stock EVAP plug

So what do I tap into for the wideband? Do I splice into the EVAP harness or is there another plug?

Have you looked at the help pdf files in ECUtek? I'm sure it's in the RaceROM (although it might be in the BRZ Tuning) guide. All the wiring colours are in there. That's the best I can suggest. I assume you have ProECU so look in the help menu

Thats fine, at least it points me in the right place. James Martin was also helpful..

I dont think I can wire it into the ECU unfortunately, reason being NYS inspection. I think it would cause me some grief and during inspection time more so than what I already will need to do with hooking the evap sensor back up.
