Oil weight & brand.
Okay so I did a post earlier on when to do oil change, and I'm gonna take it into dealer once I hit 7,500 miles. So now I was wondering what oil do you guys recommend or use? I like to check oil level quite often and with my old car if it was low i'd add some. It was a weekly thing with my oil burning g35.
But anyways, what do you use? Synthetic? 0 weight? Let me know! |

![]() ![]() If you take it to the dealer you don't have much choice on what they use. And they will use 0w20. |

Read your manual. All the info is there. If you don't have one read it online.
But not to be a ****, 0w20. As for synthetic oils it's better. As to which brand, whatever floats your boat. Pick a fan boy brand and run with it tilll the next oil change. Then if you want to stay with it or try another. It's that simple.

For average driving, just use any name brand, full synthetic, 0w20 oil. And as mentioned above, that's what the dealer will put in it. See, how easy that was ....... this is an easy car to maintain ......unless you start messing with it. humfrz |
