Looking for help choosing a scan tool..autel or snap on or both?

Hey All,

I've been away from the frs community for a while because I've been more focused on making money rather then spending it lol,But I do remember how helpful this community was and would like all opinions on a new scan tool.I have been using a OTC genisys evo for a few years now and find it great but looking into taking my scanning and diagnostics to the next level.A friend of mine has a autel Maxisys pro and I have been using that when I get a chance too and find it great but I find it lacks in certain areas(mainly in older Kia's and hyundai's) but it excels in many other aspects.I also demo'd a snap on modis edge and from what I can tell it is a very nice machine,I havnt really got to use it much yet but hope to change that in the near future..I would Like to have both and maybe will but I'm looking for opinions on both,or another one I should Look into..the prices as they stand are the autel Maxisys pro with j-box with one year free updates is 3900 tax in Canadian and the modis edge is 4800 Canadian tax in with the trade in of my older genisys(I have 2) I'm leaning towards the autel first and then get the modis but I'm looking for suggestions or anyone other input you fine people May have..I'm not looking to turn this thread into a Chinese vs USA product like most turn into,I'm just looking for information from other personal experience..thanks in advance
