Ikon Motorsports Rear RB V1 Replica Diffuser Fitment + Pictures

I wanted to move back to a stock/dual exit exhaust setup as options were limited for quad exit systems. I opted to replace my rear aero with the Ikon RB V1 copy rear diffuser as my OE diffuser was already hacked up from the TRD rear lip.

I hope this quick review will be useful to those looking into this offering by Ikon, as there aren't very many reviews of this piece on the forums. As much as I like the idea of supporting authenticity, I hope this will allow you to make the right decision for yourself on whether you want an authentic, or copy piece.

Fitment:
Fitment is okay. It could definitely be better, but it's not the worst. In other words, you could bolt it on, and call it a day with no other fitting needed. You could have additional fitting done to get rid of some of the gaps, but it's up to you. There are gaps on the side, where it mates to the oem diffuser.

One important thing to take note of, is that your diffuser may come into contact with your exhaust. In my case, the lower edge was in contact with the stock muffler. It fix that issue, I reused the factory diffuser mounting supports, drilled some holes, and spaced it out with a long bolt + nuts.

Installation
No installation hardware was included with this piece. However, the lights and wiring were included. They were not installed when the photos were taken. I ended up drilling a few holes, and using nuts and bolts to secure the diffuser. I did not use any self tapping screws. Everything is bolted to the bumper / diffuser brackets.

One thing to note, is that the 3 upper mounting holes were very thin. Thin enough that I could probably poke through it with my finger if I wanted to. Im guessing there was insufficient the material there when it was pressed/molded. Seems to be holding up fine for now...

Finish:
The raw finish is a black primer, I think...There were some minor bubbling and imperfections in mine, but if you're not too picky you could honestly mount it as is.

I had mine painted flat black, as I had my rear bumper repainted at the same time.
