Rear 4" speakers question
So for those of you who have gothen to these speakers, how many minutes of interior removal did it take you to get to them, (possibly remove them, if replacing them) , then put interior back together?
I am considering removing them for a better 2-way aftermarket speaker ( I hear going with a 5.25" speaker is possible in this location). Please let me know, thanks in advance

Had a mobile car audio installer do mine. I had a set of JL audio 5.25" speakers installed into a custom bracket, which was really just a similar bracket to the OEM one only larger and cut from a sheet of aluminum.
Seeing as he had the bracket at hand prior, the install only took a few hours, but that included a lot of other work. I did at one point watch him pull the seat and trim out to get at one of the rear speakers and it took him like under 3 min to get to it. Assuming the bits are good to go ie the new speaker is in its bracket and you're really just swapping the old one out for the new then perhaps 30min (for both) taking it slow? Hope this helps you in some way!

1 bolt on lower seat cushion, 3 pop clips on side panel, and then just pull it off (rear fold down not locked in place so u can move it up/down out of ur way)
I can prolly get both sides off in 10-15 min depending on my attention span that day |

Thank you for replying back to your own experiences ! So it sounds do-able, not too time intensive. I will order up my 5.25" coaxials here soon! THanks again
