My 400+ Whp FRS daily log

Hey guys,

I went from supercharger to a jdl single scroll turbo. I'm making 412 rear wheel hp on ethanol.

All on a stock automatic transmission, and a stock rear axle

I've seen some interest in other threads on high horsepower builds with an automatic transmission. I'd figure I'd update this thread daily with any issues!

I'll post photos tomorrow if you'd like.

The wheel spin is crazy on pilot super sport tires, but manageable. Traction control does nothing at this point anymore either.

Today I drove 50 miles, red lined multiple times (first day I got it back with turbo) and so far no issues

I have a built motor now. I ran my stock motor on 300whp for 4-5 thousand miles just fine.

Car/engine bay looks good

On a side note have you had problems with those mishimoto lugs? I have the same ones and when i had a shop put on my new wheels and those lugs the tech said he was able to use the included tool for about half of the lugs and had to use a 19mm socket for the other half. I tested the included socket myself and it actually didn't fit half of the lugs.

I didn't install the lugs myself, the performance shop did. I honestly don't like them. I'm putting the OEM ones back on tomorrow.

I had the CEL and slip indicator turn on solid.

P0300 - multiple cyclinder misfire
P0014 - camshift position
P000B - camshaft timing

The car is running completely fine. I'm assuming these have to do with the built motor. Any idea what's going on?

I'm taking it back to the performance shop tomorrow.

Also, the solid slip indicator means TCS is disable... correct?

Also, I understand CEL also lowers performance, is this true?

The P0014 and P000B was a common code with the early cars that had cam issues. I'm guessing its a built issue from whoever put your motor together? Have the shop check it.

That is actually a very appealing torque curve.

Would you mind telling me the compression your engine is running now?

Cheers
