First 86 Console Badge

Since Scion isn't going to do it, I will. I am looking at making a brushed aluminum, anodized plaque that will have a logo and your First 86 number. If interested please vote in the poll so we have an easy way to look at the tally.

I am also considering making them for non First 86 owners with just a logo. Place a vote if you are interested in this as well please.

How about for us First86 just say 1 of 86? because unless you have 1 or 86, the rest of the numbers are not that special really.

I think a lot of people were referring to this "semi official" badge

I could do that, but by using a laser to engrave the anodized surface I can customize each one. So I could also do 1 of 86, 2 of 86, etc.

I have sensed some worry from members that people could order duplicate badges who are not true First86er's. We talked about requiring each buyer to show proof of their car's number, such as the license plate frame. I will also keep a list to make sure that numbers 1-86 are not duplicated.

BTW this is what laser engraving over anodize looks like. It turns it white and can't come off. It is used a lot in production parts.

I'm happy with just "First 86" and you can just go with the list of first 86 in this thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hlight=first86

I like that because it will keep me out of copyright trouble.
