S-craft Carbon Fiber Nose Cover Becomes Cloudy

Does anyone know how a carbon fiber piece can get cloudy? 2 years ago i purchased the S-craft carbon fiber nose cover from 86worx.com. All of a sudden the piece became very cloudy. It appears it is underneath the clear coat, and above the carbon fiber. I e-mailed 86worx to see if they can get an answer from S-craft about how this happened, and what can I do to fix it.

Has anyone else had this issue before? It looks terrible. I wonder how I can fix it, if i even can.

I don't trust the coats from the manufacturers and I always get my carbon pieces coated. I believe its the gel coating that has turned yellow or faded.

I also have an S Craft lip and thought they have supposedly a clear coat option, I believe you should still get it clear coated yourself. Btw, I'm not too happy with the S Craft product itself. Maybe you can sand it then have it sprayed with clear.

Well this is a bummer I have this in a box waiting for instal. It's probably the resign or clear coat. I had a cf hood on my Honda that turned Super cloudy and yellow.
