Loading an OTS tune into proECU

I know I can, but I'm not sure if anything gets screwed up in the process.

Anyone ever try this?

you can load them

but your going to need to be carefull of calid adjusted OFT roms

These will confuse ecutek

Also the oft roms have their own patch for lc/ffs on some roms this will also confuse ecutek if you try to add ecutek racerom features to the tune.

Steve is right,

What I have found is (if you have the appropriate version) under File -> Compare Roms Open an OTS Rom on the left and a ProECURomFile\CALID-enc.bin on the right and compare. Copy everything over to their stock rom and proceed that way. The LC/ffs won't be copied and anything else that may be an issue if you were to flash would appear in the messages section.

If you don't have the 'Compare File' feature, send me the Openflash OTS File you are trying to make EcuTek compatible and the CALID of the vehicle you are planning to write the file to and I will do it for you and send it back.

Just PM me.
