Bride stradi Seats
Can anyone tell me how these stack up fit/comfort wise with stock FRS seats ? I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on these, but they aren't cheap & most of the retailers contacted have essentially a 'no return policy'. After research I have come to the conclusion that these reclining seats with the low cushion/rail (LR) option are my best bet @ dropping the seat height for DD use. With that said, if these seats are significantly smaller/narrower than stock they will unfortunately be a no go for me. Dimension wise the 2 seats appear similar, but there's nothing like hearing from folk who can actually comment first hand after making the swop
Thanks. |

I have a Bride Stradia for my passenger seat, and I'm also the Bride Seller for Canada.
The Bride Stradia is definitely snugger/tighter than the regular FR-S seat. I can only recommend a few things: - First try to see if there's a Bride Japan retailer in your area. Where you can go and try out the seat. Most will have an area or a few seats for demo or trying out before you purchase. - Go to the Bride Japan site and check the measurements for waist/width size. Every seat there has a measurement for what is suitable to fit inside certain seats. For Stradia II, It would be up to a 36" waist size. Anymore and I'd probably go to a Euroster or Digo II if reclinability is a priority for you. |

CW - appreciate your reply here.
I had suspected that coming from a Japanese manufacturer the Bride Stradia seats would be on the 'tighter' side. It's a real challenge finding a Bride Retailer in my area with Seats avail to try out. I cannot find the URL to the Bride site with the waist dimensions listed - can you post it please. Are you saying that the Bride Euroster/DigoII Seats will both 1. Fit in an FRS 2. Provide additional headroom over stock seat 3. Should be at least as roomy as the stock seat I note that the LR rails are not available with the seats you mention so was wondering how low in the Car they could really be positioned. |

These are the dims of the Bride Stradia II. We are a big East Coast dealer of Bride and I can help with any questions you have. I have personally sat in a Stradia II and with a 33 waist it isnt SUPER tight, but it is snug. They are not really comparable to stock seats. Because the Stradia is essentially a bucket seat that reclines. And with the low cushion you are giving up some comfort their as well.
But with all that said I can daily in them no problem at all. But they arent really comparable in comfort to the stock seats. As they shouldnt be. Because they are designed to keep your body positioned well when driving aggressively.

Good input - thanks Kami
I have the dimensions of the Seats, but they only tell half the story which is why I was looking for first hand feedback. CW mentioned in an earlier post that the Bride Digo & Euroster may be a more realistic proposition. The Digo looks a much smaller seat designed to fit into a compact Car - with a shoulder/seat width dimensions 465/485 compared to FRS(stock) ~ 530/510 (?) so for a larger Guy like me 6'3" (36" waist ) may not work The Euroster may be a better bet at 545/500 - any comments ?? also could I get the Seat to sit lower (than stock) using the right rail..which is the main reason I am looking for an aftermarket seat. |

Since your 'Location' only says USA, I'm sure there might be some people who could recommend places that might have demo seats, but USA isn't very specific as a location.........
I know there are a bunch of people in the Mid-Atlantic area that have aftermarket seats and might be able to help with recommendations....... |
