Exhaust setup and noise testing? What DB is yours?

Iv got a noise problem, in England race tracks are not allowed to be noisey.

On a track day last week. The track day limits were 98db static, 88db drive by.

My car failed at 99db static and 92db. So I need to attenuate the noise limit by 4db drive by.

My current setup:
210 sprintex.
Stock Header
Cobra overpipe.
Decat
Scott and Hayward mid and rear system.

I know I could probably put a big silencer in the mid, and get the noise now, but my big problem is I want to run an aftermarket decat header to unlock as much power a possible.

So if you guys have noise testing on track days, and if you have an aftermarket header can you write up the details of your system and the noise test levels.

These work well, installed at the exhaust exit they should drop your sound levels 1-3 db without robbing you of power

"The Vortex Insert Cone, installed near the exit of the header collector or muffler outlet, provides a large friction area to reflect and dissipate sound energy, thus reducing the dB level. The open area of the cone is actually greater than the area of the collector or exhaust pipe, thus reducing a back pressure condition. Because no significant back pressure has been introduced, the engine is still able to use the scavenge ability of a good header to create horsepower and torque. Dyno and track testing show significant noise reduction with little or no power loss."

Either use the stock muffler or the stock front pipe.

Put a real header on, and put the stock muffler back on. It's not a significant restriction.

You will make significantly more power for significantly less noise.
