Car Amplifier Problems

Recently i installed a new Pioneer DVD in dash system the AVH-4800BS.
I hooked everything up fine, ive done it a million times. But for some reason my car amplifier that powers my speakers and sub no longer turns on. It will come on briefly but then immediately shut off. I confirmed it was not the amplifier by running a piece of wire between the power terminal and the remote on terminal and the thing starts up just fine and stays on no problem. What does this mean? that the power on wire is shot? ive confirmed that it is connected securely on both ends and there are not any blown fuses anywhere? what the hell should i do. i am missing my music.

Deck Pioneer AVH-4800BS
Amp- Rocksford Fosgate R600x5

PLEASE HELP i am completely stumped.

if you have a dmm you could check to see that the remote on (blue) is staying hot.
if its not you can run any switched signal wire, it technically doesn't need to come from the HU.
sounds like if it does the same thing every time power on briefly shut off maybe you have a short somewhere on the remote on? did you wire up and parking brake bypass relay?

Yes I have wired up a bypass. Just weird that a short would happen right when I replace the HU? I didn't mess with anything else. I'll have to check if it is staying hot constantly.
