Noob questions about wheels

Hi there!

I'm interested in lowering my BRZ, and I'd like my wheels to be flush. However, I'm not sure if it's better to get wider wheels or to invest in spacers. I'd like to maintain the same driving experience as I drive this to and back from work every day.

I've read the pros and cons about wider wheels. Con being that the drive may be compromised but the pro are the aesthetics. I don't plan on racing or tracking my car. Just a leisure driver. Con about spacers are the cost....

Any suggestions are welcome!

I vote other wheels over spacers. IMO the stock rims are ugly as shit. You don't have to go super wide to get a flush look, you just need lower offset. Like a 17x8 +35 for example.

being "flush" has nothing to do with wider wheels.

Offset is the key factor.

what he said xD offset important. spacers just means more needless weigh from lack of planning or calculation. and.. extra money to buy them lol
