Your real world results when tuning your aftermarket intake

Has anyone actually tuned an aftermarket intake with success. TUNED... Not just re setting the battery. Injen seems good? I'm on e85 with a jdl uel and I would not mind the extra power. And yes I can scale my MAF and yes I know about the drop in filter... Anyways... Any success with an aftermarket intake? Btw I've searched the results seem outdated.

Im told that some intakes give a decent gain initially but the gains dont stack. And once the tune is optimized they do very little.

Most intakes give you power by leaning out your air/fuel ratio. Grimmspeed paid particular attention to the AFR when developing theirs, so if you're going to go with any intake beyond the already very capable OEM intake, I'd go with theirs.

As far as the extra power you'll see, it might be 3 hp if you're lucky. A filter is much cheaper. If you were to run a GS intake on a completely stock car, you'd see 5-7 hp.
