what's the dealer trying?

I put down a deposit back in May, the sales told me my frs is gona be here before july. then he told me the car landed in canada already 2 weeks ago. but i didnt get any news from him after july so i ask the sales whats going on? he sent me an email with a picture all the ETA(july 20th), VIN info. but the customer info is not me...
why is the sales doing this??

Sounds like they're trying to lose a customer. Seriously, though, Goku is right, dig deeper with them to get the whole story. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding or laziness, who knows.

The dealership most likely ordered the car for another person awhile back. That person backed out, and you are now the guy, but the paper work probably can't be updated during shipping, etc. Give em a call, but I doubt it's something to worry about.
