Time Attack with TRD parts

I've got a question regarding the classing of my car for time attack. I see that each sway bar is worth one pip and springs are worth 4 pip. Has the question ever come up before about the TRD sways and springs whether they are considered OEM or if you need to add the pip to your rating. The definition in the rulebook says dealer installed options have to be accounted for while classing the vehicle. Last year the SCCA deemed these parts allowed for CS in AutoX as they were port installed options rather than dealer installed.

If you're going by the CCDB, anything that isn't a factory option is required to be counted as a modification. Technically even swapping to BRZ springs on an FRS or FRS springs on a BRZ would count.

You can shoot an email to the CCC to see if they'll adopt the SCCA ruling, but I don't know if it'll be allowed or not.
