Texas 86ers: Help needed with manual trans measurements
Hello Texas 86ers!
I'm having some custom clutch parts made and in order to move forward with where I'm at in the process, I to take measurements inside of the bell housing of the manual transmission as well as the distance between the clutch fingers and engine block. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to take these measurements on my own car at this time since it's my DD and in use every day. Does anyone on here who stays in Texas have any of the following: engine and transmission (not bolted to each outher - also out of car)? car with transmission uninstalled (engine still intact)? Plan to do clutch removal/install in the near future? Any combination or subset of above scenarios? If so, would I be able to come by and take the above mentioned measurements? It would be amazing and a huge lift I could this!! I'm local to Austin but am willing to drive to to different cities if that what it takes. Can anyone help with this?? |
