REVIEW: Garmin Dash Cam™ 35

Loving this dash cam.

Originally had a G1W-C but gave it away to friend, since, my Garmin came in.

Price: $165 USD brand new from BestBuy after price match and discount from Amazon. hehe

Pros:

Install: 1/5 in difficulty
Battery: Yes, lasts 30min w/o a/c on internal
Graphics: 8/10 crystal clear
Accuracy of GPS: 9/10
Accuracy on speed: 9/10 just 1mph below vehicle speed


Cons:

No Mic
Can't rotate side to side
Mount is one time use only then $9 USD to buy new one


I wen't from the G1W-C because I wanted clarity and mp4 format over the one G1W-C had. I also wanted a dash cam that recorded my speed, as I got a warning for being 7 miles over speed limit a few weeks ago when I was driving 62mph [cruise control] on a 65mph zone. By the way, the G1W-C is amazing in heat. No warping, no SD dying on me...no issues in 2yrs. Great starting dash cam. Hopoe this Garmin is too!

License plates+Dash cams

Many of us look for a dash cam that records license plates with clarity but its hard to find one in the US due to the glossy/shiny finish our plates have. This one does pick up plates a tad more, but still not good enough.
