2017 BRZ Or Luxury?

So I planned on getting the 2017 BRZ and I was gona do some mods, im more of an exterior kind of person, so i was going to get exhaust, body kit, intake, rims, and jus other small stuff. But its either do that or get a lexus or bmw and not do any mods to it. Which would you guys prefer? i been thinking hard on the subject but i would like to hear some opinion. and of course buying the luxury car would cost more thats why i wouldn't end up doing mods to it.

The cars you are speaking about are polar opposites.

Only you know what's right for you.

If you ask this question you should stick with Lexus, Brz is nowhere near what most ppl consider comfortable. "it's a comfortable sports car, but that's miles away from lexus"

If you can afford buying a Lexus or a BMW, maybe you should consider buying instead a WRX STI. It'll be a cheaper option and you'll not need to mod it at all. It is ready from the factory. You'll not have much luxury, but more of a real car. BRZ/86 in stock form is not really there and you'll need to know what you're doing for going closer to the level of WRX STI. Some ex-BRZ/86 owners, went already into this direction and changed their cars. Of course, it depends always on your needs and what you're looking for ...

Buy the luxury car. Based on your question, you would hate the BRZ. You would pump all that money into those mods, and it still wouldn't provide the display of status you're looking for. Then you'd get fed up with it and try to sell it, only to find that the mods made the car worth less rather than more.

Get a BMW, let everybody know you're a baller.

It totally depends on what you're wanting. If you value comfort and quality most, then you can only get that from luxury cars. If you value high performance at a good price, then you might look at the STI and Evo (but they are not comfortable and don't have high quality interiors/styling). You have to let us know what you value from most to least...

I always wanted to be able to have a MOD car, i love having the car be different from other people. thats why i was planning on getting the brz and putting basically only exterior mods into it, which would probably end up costing less than me getting the luxury car. i got a few friends who would help me install most of the parts themselves so i save money on labor as well.
