Release 1.0 Rear Spoiler on standard frs

Bought me a release series spoiler. The 3 piece unit. The side pieces that go above the tail lights have bolts in them that I need to drill for.

What have you guys done in this situation ?

Don't have that spoiler, but I drilled holes for mine. Don't trust 3m tape in the Arizona heat.

You could probably eye ball it and be fine, tbh. As for the tape vs drills, just depends on how well you prep the surface and the quality of tape really.

The side pieces I would't drill it, because if you want to take it off it's going to bin your rear quarter panel I believe. I had a TRD rep spoiler with 3m tape and held on for 2 years before I took it off.
