I really didn't know ford had another entry into the rally scene outside the Focus, but I'd take it

The RS200 was Group B awesomeness. I think they were pushing 600-700 hp from a 2L turbo, or something crazy like that.

Unfortunately for Ford, it came on the scene right at the time that Group B was banned.

Ah, yes the RS200. engine developed by cosworth. the regulations stipulated that 200 models had to be made for street use. There was an RS200 converted for street racing using a modified 2L made 750 hp. from a 2L. still one of the fastest 0-60's of the late 80s. Back when the 959 and f40 were belting it out with their jazz and pazazz, this would have blown right past them.

They need to make another one.

Dude, group B rally, like the late 60's era of F1...

I'd take a Lancia 037 over the Rs200 though.

My favorite Ferrari was built for Group B but didn't get to compete as group B was cancelled before it was ready to compete...

Not all is well within the Ford family of vehicles, especially when it comes to supercars. Ask many Blue Oval fans about the fastest Fords of yore, and they’ll list off icons like the GT, late-great GT500, and the rare Cobra R.
I know this was just Yahoo news; but who in the hell can write that, specifically citing the GT and GT500, and not nod to the GT350R and 2017 GT?

The RS200 was like the most awesome monster Ford has ever built. I had the Matchbox diecast car when I was a kid.

Just make sure you don't lose control of it flying sideways and hit a tree looking like a scene out of Family Guy when it blows up.

I wonder how much Zach Doell got paid for that article?
