Invidia Q300 tip length.
Folks,
I was wondering in anyone on here with the Q300 would be so kind to measure the length of their exhaust tip from the weld out. I'm wanting to cut the tip it comes with off and replace it with a dual tip. I just need the length so I can find one that doesn't stick out too far. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. |

From the weld that's in red in the picture to the bottom of the tip is right around 6 inches. From the top of the tip to the weld is right around 7 inches. The pipe coming out of the muffler angles the tips up but since the tip is a different length top vs bottom, it looks even when its installed.
My guess is if you put on another tip, it will look slightly angled up.

Chirstian_c_k did this with his invidia q300. He put flowmaster quad exhaust tips on them and they were fine.

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the help! I'm probably going to hit up one of the local meetups to see if anyone has the Q300 for a closer look. It would certainly suck to go through all the money and trouble only to be disappointed in the results.
