Berk or Nameless?

I need help deciding which exhaust would sound better in your opinion and have power gains (not looking for 10+hp, more like an extra 1 or 2, or at least somewhat noticeable gains). I'm keeping everything stock, midpipe, headers, etc., the only thing I'm changing is the axleback. I'm thinking about getting Berk muffler delete or Nameless Axleback with 4" mufflers. Both sound good in my opinion, but I wanna know what someone else would get.

Thanks for the feedback

I owned the Berk muffler delete for the better part of 6 months, but then purchased UELs and sold them to a friend who's really enjoying it. It drones quite a bit because it isn't a muffler at all it's just a pipe with two exhaust tips. Cold starts are loud even when it's tuned out and between 1800-3500 is some very aggressive drone. Also there is no noticeable power increase 1-2 hp is not even going to to appear and I challenge you to find a independent dyno numbers that show that with just an axleback, it'll simply feel faster with the added sound. Bottom line the berk sounds good from the outside or full throttle but daily driving and not revving it out is a drone fest and isn't worth $300

^Thats a clip of it on my car

If I had to do it again I would've gone with these:

Topspeed Pro 1 axleback
Nameless axleback 4 inch mufflers
HKS legamax premium
Works AB-M

Any of those 4 are good and don't drone and still sound awesome, also if you want power buy an Openflash tablet and flash the Stage 1 93 or 91 tune, that will give you the 5-10 hp bump you desire and get rid of a small portion of the torque dip

Engine drone was one thing I overlooked and I don't want to get yelled at by my neighbors, since they already hate my guts. I really wanted to get nameless but to hard to find a setup that has everything stock except the axleback. Don't want to spend $500-600 on an exhaust that I won't enjoy. Berk is the cheapest way to go for me, but I worry that the drone will be unbearable and will go back to stock.

I have a Berk single-exit, and the drone really isn't bad. You get a bit in the mid to high 3k range, but it's definitely bearable. (Sounds better than the rice-tastic N1 that everyone seems to love for some reason)

When I first installed it, it sounded like the loudest thing ever. After a week I hardly noticed it. My girlfriend felt the same about it, and now she says it puts her to sleep. haha Once you get used to it, it's perfectly fine.

Look for one used, generally can be found for around $80-100. And worst case if you don't like it, you can sell it for around what you paid.

If you do plan to upgrade any exhaust components in the future though, the track pipe will probably be too loud then. So if you think you might, I'd consider the Namless w/ 5" mufflers.

The berk Dual tip is louder than the single tip. Get the topspeed pro-1, works ab-m or the nameless axleback, all are in similiar price ranges with the nameless being the most expensive outliar

TopSpeed is poor quality. I've heard decent things about the Works ABM, basically the same thing as the Berk dual-exit delete with a resonator added in. And Nameless makes great products.

I still think a Berk single or dual exit delete is the best value exhaust if you plan to keep the rest of the system stock. It's not too loud, it sounds good, will get essentially the same performance gains as any other catback system, and is the cheapest option out there.

Topspeed pro-1 is a greddy clone and I've seen two people in my area with them and they fit and look alright after a PA winter....
