Rexpeed Hood Dampers - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Okay, has ANYONE successfully installed REXPEED Hood Dampers on an 86? I have tried every mounting location, every angle, every direction and every side. Nothing works and the hood will not close. The closest I got was installing the top bracket to the top 12mm mount on the hood, and the bottom to the middle 10mm bolt that holds the side fenders in place. The hood will go all way down, but right before it shuts, it hits the mount and will not close all the way. Pictures will be heavily appreciated. I contacted fr86speedfactory about detailed instructions and have not heard anything back. Searched everywhere and can't find anything!

I found the mounting position, instructions are completely wrong and videos of other brands has completely different locations. Mod can delete

Perhaps show a picture of the mountings in case someone else has the same problem?

The top bracket attached to the highest point of the hood mount/whatever you want to call it. The lower end, actually goes backward, opposite of other branded hood dampers the go forward. The mounting point is in the back corners of the engine bay behind the fenders.
