BRZ Exterior Part Identification
I hate to post so soon - I tend to lurk for a year before I ask anything but I don't know what this thing is called so I'm not sure how to search for it. "Hood plastic rubbery thing...bit".
At any rate, the previous owner (who was possibly a squirrel) broke (or gnawed) this part and I didn't notice it until I owned the car for a couple days (therefore it's not on record so I can't have the dealer fix it). Picture (if I link it right) If you can't tell, it's in the...channel (?) where the wipers sit. At the passenger side right where the "back" of the hood (nearest the windshield) meets that channel. Anyone know what it's called so I can search for a part number? I'd love to know how that happened. It seems deliberate but I can't think why... Thanks all! Pseudo |

Holy crap, an absolute embarrassment of information. Thank you very much, guys. I reckon, I should have a look around to make sure there's not an actual rodent in there.
Unrelated story, it was something like 60k miles on my old wrx until I figure out there was a cabin air filter and that it should be replaced. It was filled with bits of cotton and acorn shells. Yeah. Good times. Thanks gain! |
