Verizon best mobile service?

Been using Boost Mobile for probably 2 years as I don't really care about my phone or mobile phone service too much. Currently using a S3. My bill is currently almost $60 a month. Used to be cheaper so now I'm considering a switch.

Lately been thinking of upgrading as my phone kinda sucks as far as battery is concerned and doesnt work in Canada. I like snow and been to Canada a bunch of times hate not having service. Phone loses charge when plugged in using GPS or apps.

Does Verizon offer some discount for switching? Can I get a deal on a new smart phone or is that not a thing anymore? From what I see on their site they dont even offer a discount on phones just monthly payments. lol

So I guess basically my question is what is the best mobile provider. Is there any benefit to switching? I might just stay with Boost and buy an extended battery for my phone if there is no real benefit to switching.

Best what?
What is most important? Answer in most important to least important. 1. Service(reception/coverage) 2. Cost 3. Data(speed)
And how much data do you use per month?
"deals" don't exist, it's just a way to get you to sign for 2-3 years. You end up paying for the phone either way.
I'm on google fi which uses sprint and t-mobile lines. 20bucks a month plus 10 for every gig.

I guess best cost to data ratio?

I have been happy with the Boost Mobile coverage in the US, though I wish it worked in Canada.

When I go to track events in the on season months I always cap out my 5gb on Boost. Which sucks but at least I don't get an expensive over data fee, I just get shitty slow service for the rest of the cycle.

SO I guess my priority would be the best cost/data ratio and hopefully coverage into canada.

Omg i hate tmobile. Lol in my experience traveling to track with someone in my car that has tmobile. It has very very poor service even on major highways. Yes it worked in canada but on many trips my boost service had the gps working. Their tmobile said "E" for service and couldnt get signal for gps for exgended periods of time.

Honestly, the carriers are usually the best of the worst. I have verizon and it gets good coverage. Still places I don't, its alot better than T-mobile, and AT&T isnt much better.

Granted Verizon is probably the most expensive.
