rear speakers
I cut the brackets in the rear and mounted 6x9s. Still wired the factory head unit they don't seem to receive low frequency. Something I need to know? Maybe a "bass blocker" to remove?

The rear speakers do not receive a full range signal, they are high passed. As far as I know, this is done in the head unit. If you find something else, let me know!

There's really no real use for rear speakers without a signal processor that either upmixes to 5.1, or one that natively processes dvd-a. There are only a couple that do the former, and only 1 that does the latter.
