Why a youtube link and not a link to the product?

Music volume down, dialog up next time.

Also if you find that your drill bits no longer seem to work like they used to, it's because you're using concrete as a back-stop and damaging the tips. Think of the drill tip as a very tiny, sharp knife blade. They don't take much abuse to dull, and the tip is the part that does all of the work. The fancy spirals up the sides just carry material out of the hole like a conveyor belt.

Thanks, good to know. Don't do too much drilling I'll be better about it next time.

No, only applies to non-prime members.

NP. Most people use a scrap block of wood for the bit to hit.

Garage
Either a block of wood, some foam, or an actual gap between two supports.

*EDIT* Correction, I confused this discussion with another one about mud guards/mud flaps, hence my response in the next paragraph. Yes, these rear spats are mostly just for looks and they also offer some protection to the painted area they cover.

Original incorrect reply in reference to using mud guards:
Quote:
In the sense that the front ones prevent your paint down the side of your car from getting chipped up by rocks kicked up from your front tires, yes. This is especially true for those running sticky tires, wider wheels/tires, and wheels with more offset that push out closer to the edge of the fenders. The rear ones mostly keep rocks from being thrown up at traffic behind you somewhat.

BaysonR Rear Spats

eBay from a reputable brand and only 34 bucks free shipping no tax.

Why are people getting excited over these?
