Dent from a shopping cart

Hi everyone,

I've had my GT86 for a little more than a year now and recently my car door got hit by a shopping cart while I was getting groceries. I had hoped my insurance would cover it under my no deductible comphrensive, but apparently they consider it collision since something collide with my car. The dent is probably smaller than a penny. What's the best cost efficient way to pop it out? Luckily it didn't damage the paint and the dent is pretty much a perfect circle.

A penny sized dent......I wouldn't worry about it and count your blessings you only have one. Look on youtube, there's a way you can pop this out with ice dry and regular. Don't know if it works, I've never tried it

Find a good PDR guy and the dent will be gone!
Mine lasted two years with no dents and then a tree branch fell onto the rear quarter panel near the glass.
Two panel beaters and a PDR guy wanted to do an insurance job and respray the whole rear of the car.
I finally found a great PDR guy and he did a glue pull in only half an hour.

I drove my first ever brand new car (2003 Lancer Rallie) from the dealer to an auto parts store to by plates frames. Came out to find a shopping cart against it and a quarter sized dent in the passenger door. I had had the car about 20 minutes. The last time I saw the car (about a week ago) it still has the ding.

Oh, and the insurance is feeding you a line unless you have some weird wording. A moving object (other than another vehicle) hitting your parked car is comprehensive. If you are moving and hit something that is collision. Of course anything moving that hit you "collided" with your car but to try to play a word game is wrong on their part.
