care about your car? pay for 0 dedictible comprehensive coverage.

was on the highway today and started hearing the sound of rain, then realized it was more like sand, then a few dings off the glass later i realize there is some jackass in a beat up dumptruck piled higher than the top of the truck with gravel and of course needing to drive on the interstate with piles of gravel falling off it as it drives.

after i got to where i was going i found 3 or four decent size gouges in my paint from this but because i have the foresight to ensure myself properly, i call in a claim to my insurance who forwards it to the dealer and next week i drop off to get an absolutely free repaint. because it was a comprehensive claim it doesnt even affect my rates or anything.

if you love your car, insure her well. youll thank yourself later.

I'd be more amused at the subtle ways people would seek revenge. Like if you knew where they parked and pored a fresh bag of instant concrete on the gravel in their tray and lightly hosed it all down with a super soaker!

Word... People like that piss me off. I've been hit on the knuckles at highway speeds on my motorcycle, not to mention having the car pelted. Lifted trucks with no mud flaps can lick my balls too. Was on the highway yesterday and this overloaded dump truck is dropping trash out the top every second then there was a 18 wheeler with smashed cars sending glass like rain on the windshield. Fml. Love having comprehensive but i will say that people with comprehensive on cheap vehicles make me LMFAO

My entire bumper is covered with chips and my windscreen has quite a few as well. Not just small chips, but looks like mini bullets were fired at my car, missing slightly and scraping it.

Truck was carrying gravels and switched into my lane. I pressed brake but still showered with gravels at 100km/h.
