plasti dip stock rims gold

Hey, does anyone know about how much it should cost to plasti dip rims gold. I plan on dipping the rims gold until I buy my full setup of gold wheels with a chrome lip and a rocketbunny v1 kit hopefully. Any thing from price to tutorials to where to but the dip is greatly appreciated.

2600 without the wing. The setup I want in the future cost almost 9000 for just the look. I just don't feel like looking all of that stuff up right now for plasti dipping wheels

9000 for astetics. Imagine if you put that into performance. 9k for some bolt on fenders is a lot.

Depending on how many coats you want. You could go with 2 cans. A lot of people recommend 4 cans - but personally I think it's overkill. Each can is about $5 at your local home depot, lowes, etc. Since you're going gold, they might not have it in store so try online.

Get the wheel kit from DYC it works great for all 4 wheels. I got Vintage gold for the base and the regular gold metal flake. The metal flake makes a big difference and I wouldn't recommend getting the kit without.

Here's what the wheels looked like right after I painted them.

This is about a year after I painted them. They're getting a bit worn and I want to redo the paint, also if you plan on getting tires done anytime soon I'd wait till after that since putting tires on and off rips up the dip.

Also watch the DYC youtube channel for how to's it'll help.
